    Frequently asked questions
What should I know before buying an engagement ring?

Before buying an engagement ring, here are some important factors to consider:

    1. Budget: Determine a budget for your engagement ring purchase. This will help you narrow down your options and focus on the styles and options that fit within your budget.
    2. Style: Consider the style and personal preferences of the person you are buying the ring for. Think about the types of jewelry they already wear, and their overall personal style.
    3. Diamond 4 Cs: Familiarize yourself with the 4 Cs of diamonds - Carat weight, Cut, Color, and Clarity. Understanding the 4 Cs will help you make informed decisions about the diamond you choose for your engagement ring.
    4. Setting: Choose a setting that fits the diamond and the personal style of the person you are buying the ring for. Different settings will have different impacts on the appearance of the diamond, so it is important to consider this when making your selection.
    5. Certification: Consider purchasing a diamond with a certification from a reputable organization, such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). A certification will provide you with important information about the diamond, including its quality, size, and weight.

By considering these factors, you can make an informed and confident decision when buying an engagement ring. It is also helpful to work with a knowledgeable and trustworthy jeweler who can provide expert guidance and support throughout the process. Like Warren Buffet once said: “If you don't know jewelry, know the jeweler.”

    Is my Diamond GIA certified?

All of our diamonds are GIA Certified.

GIA stands for the Gemological Institute of America. Founded in 1931, GIA is widely recognized as one of the most respected and authoritative sources of information on diamonds, coloured stones, and pearls. The GIA is best known for its diamond grading system, which is widely used as the standard in the jewelry industry.

To confirm if your diamond is GIA certified, you can request a copy of the diamond grading report from the seller. The grading report will indicate if the diamond was evaluated by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and include details such as the diamond's cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. If you don't have a grading report, you can also verify the certification by contacting the GIA directly and providing the report number or other relevant information.

How do I determine my ring size?

Visit a jeweler: The easiest and most accurate way to determine your ring size is to visit a jewelry store and have your finger measured by a professional.

Use a ring sizer: If you can't visit a jeweler, you can order a plastic or metal ring sizer online or from a jewelry supply store. This will give you a more accurate measurement than using a paper or string method.

Measure an existing ring: If you have a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you'd like to wear your new ring on, you can use it as a guide. Measure the inside diameter of the ring or trace it onto a piece of paper, and then use a ruler to measure the diameter.

String or paper method: If you don't have an existing ring or a ring sizer, you can wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger and measure the length. Then use a ruler to measure the length of the paper or string and compare it to a ring size chart to determine your ring size.

How long does it take to process an order?

How to clean your jewelry at home?

Step One: Grab your supplies. These are easy supplies you’ll find at home - no venturing to the store is required. You need:

    • Soft bristle toothbrush
    • Eco-friendly mild soap
    • A clean empty cup

Step Two: Mix warm water with a few drops of soap in the cup.

Step Three: Dip the toothbrush in the mixture and gently brush your diamond or gemstone engagement ring, making sure to go under and around the stones and setting. You can repeat this process 2-3 times for extra brilliance. Lastly, rinse your jewel with warm water and pat it dry with a soft microfiber cloth.

Can I get my ring resized?

We offer your first resize free of charge*. Our resize also includes a cleaning service in which your ring will be polished to perfection.

Do you offer lab grown diamonds?

We do offer lab grown diamonds and like our other diamonds, they are also GIA or IGI certified.
